ThreoTech and Green Jeeva enter settlement over Magtein patent infringement

This follows a patent infringment lawsuit filed by ThreoTech against Green Jeeva in relation to its magnesium L-threonate nutraceutical

ThreoTech and Green Jeeva have entered into a settlement that has ended a patent infringement lawsuit filed by ThreoTech.

The lawsuit, which involved its proprietary Magtein® magnesium L-threonate functional ingredient, was active in the central district of California.

The terms of the settlement are currently confidential.

CEO of ThreoTech, Edward Lee, comments: “Magtein is a unique dietary supplement ingredient protected by a variety of composition
and use patents,” 

“Our patent portfolio and other intellectual property supporting Magtein magnesium L-threonate is strong. We stand ready to protect our intellectual property.”

Magtein magnesium L-threonate is a branded ingredient targeted towards the dietary supplement industry — containing a bioactive form of magnesium that has been proven to pass through the blood brain barrier to support:
