Safety assessment by the EU deems magnesium L-threonate a novel food

With help from AIDP, ThreoTech’s Magtein has achieved Novel Food authorisation, meaning it can now be incorporated into supplements and functional foods/beverages

ThreoTech's magnesium L-threonate nutraceutical, Magtein®, has been named as a novel food by the European Union.

This means it can be incoroprated into a range of nutritional applications, including functional foods and dietary supplements. 

By achieving this Novel Food authorisation, AIDP and its partner company and licensee ThreoTech will now have exclusive rights to the marketing of magnesium L-threonate in the EU.
