Nammex study outlines chaga testing framework for effective quality control

North American functional mushroom provider Nammex has published a research article, Comparative Study of Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) Dietary Supplements Using Complementary Analytical Techniques, which details an identification framework designed to ensure the quality of chaga-based dietary supplements.

The research article, published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, discusses the key bioactive constitutents of high-quality chaga canker, as well as the common biomarkers of 'poor quality' ingredients high in fermented grain products. 

To find out more about the article's key findings and how supplement companies can ensure their chaga products are of high quality, NBR caught up with Bill Chioffi, Chief Operating Officer of Nammex.
