Vitafoods Europe has concluded its largest show to date, bringing together the global nutraceutical community for three days of insight, innovation and valuable networking.

The 2026 show broke last year's attendance record, welcoming 26,767 attendees and more than 1500 exhibitors through its doors.

The show also featured its largest-ever floorspace, with an additional hall introduced to accommodate increased exhibitor numbers, reflecting the significant expansion that the nutraceutical industry has seen.

Another highlight of this year's show was the extensive content programme, with 37.5 hours of sessions and 100 expert speakers tackling the trends redefining nutrition, from GLP-1-driven market shifts to the growth of beauty-from-within.

Highlights included the sold-out Women's Networking Breakfast, which covered life-stage challenges to advocacy opportunities and the Future of Nutrition Lunch & Learn, which explored how biohacking and longevity science are reshaping innovation.

Spector emphasised the importance of gut health as a crucial factor in longevity, citing ZOE research showing how microbial balance affects metabolism, cognition and immune resilience.

Following this, a panel discussion focused on the "healthspan stack," exploring how biohacking is evolving towards evidence-based, system-oriented combinations. They also considered the implications for the next generation of nutraceuticals.

Exhibitors showcased their latest developments to attendees from more than 130 countries, with the show seeing more than 220,000 on-site connections, reinforcing its role as a platform for discovery across the supply chain.

Plus, the newly introduced Community Lounge provided a dedicated space for micro-communities, associations and partners to connect through intimate networking sessions and spark conversations in a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere.

Meanwhile, emerging disruptor brands were spotlighted at the Startup Challenge, highlighting the inventiveness that is driving the nutraceutical sector forward.

The Vitafoods Europe Innovation Awards also returned to celebrate the companies and ideas pushing the boundaries of nutrition, with winners announced during an exclusive ceremony following live presentations to judges.
