Sustainability shouldn't be a promise. It should be a number

Every botanical ingredient supplier says they care about sustainability. Fewer put a decimal point next to it. For EU formulators, that gap has become a sourcing filter, not a nice-to-have. So, we measured ours

What extracting with purpose looks like

  • 100% of biomass reused — spent herbs repurposed into clean fuel instead of landfill.
  • 90%+ of water recycled through advanced filtration.
  • 800+ MWh of clean energy generated, enough to power every employee in a 10,000-person company for a year.

None of this is an aspirational language. It's what circular systems and regenerative growth look like when they're actually operating.

Why it matters in the EU right now

European buyers need to substantiate the environmental claims on their own packaging, not just make them. A supplier that hands over measurable circularity data, aligned to recognised frameworks, de-risks that job. Our work here maps four UN SDGs (3, 8, 12 and 15), with the goal of net-zero by 2050: growth that's regenerative, not extractive.
