Bioiberica will be exhibiting at this year's SupplySide Global show, alongside US distributor STAUBER, showcasing its portfolio of branded ingredients for muscle, joint and beauty-from-within applications.
The company will highlight the science behind its range of ingredients, focusing on recent biomarker findings showing the effects of its native (undenatured) type II collagen, Collavant n2, for joint support in healthy individuals.
It said the ingredient would help brands meet growing demand for longevity solutions with a proven, science-backed ingredient.
A recent clinical trial for Collavant n2 showed that a low dose of 40 mg/day can support articular cartilage in healthy individuals experiencing activity-related joint discomfort.
The findings mark the first time native type II collagen has shown benefits in healthy subjects, enabling supplement manufacturers to develop joint health products for active, health-conscious consumers.
The company will also showcase its hyaluronic acid (HA) matrix ingredients: Mobilee, which has been shown to support muscle and joint health at 80 mg/day and Dermial for beauty-from-within, with recent clinical science demonstrating improvements in wrinkles, skin hydration, smoothness and roughness at just 60 mg/day — including what the brand called a unique "glow" effect.
