The UK Court of Appeal has ruled in favour of Mara Renewables in a long-running patent dispute with dsm-firmenich.

The UK Court of Appeal rejected dsm-firmenich's appeal against a 2025 court ruling that one of its patents for producing microalgal docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) oil was invalid.
