TriNutra will unveil the powder format of its clinically validated ThymoQuin black seed oil (BSO) at SupplySide Global, where the company will be exhibiting for the first time at booth 4153.
ThymoQuin is the only USP-compliant, premium, full-spectrum standardised black seed oil, supported by numerous in vitro and clinical research studies that demonstrate its health benefits.
These include healthy cortisol regulation, a balanced gut microbiome, enhanced immune response and overall mental
well-being.
The powder format will provide additional versatility for use in functional food bars, tablets, hardshells and more.
Black seed oil has been utilised for more than 2000 years.
Recognising the potential of this ingredient, TriNutra has succeeded in naturally standardising black seed oil’s key phytonutrient, thymoquinone, under the brands ThymoQuin, B’utyQuin and ThymoQuin-Ocare.
TriNutra’s black seed oil is a globally patented ingredient with a unique composition that includes 3% thymoquinone, a minimum of 1.2% p-cymene and less than 1.25% free fatty acids.
This careful balance is critical, as high levels of free fatty acids can diminish potency and lead to rancidity of the oil.
Morris Zelkha, CEO of TriNutra, stated, “In the past, black seed oil powder applications have struggled with stability and potency."
"However, we are proud to introduce the first black seed oil powder that maintains the integrity, stability and potency expected of ThymoQuin."
"This powder application has been years in the development and we are thrilled to launch it at SupplySide Global while expanding our reach into additional product categories.”
During SupplySide Global, Michael T. Murray, N.D., Chief Science Advisor, iHerb, will present the latest research findings on ThymoQuin’s role in supporting healthy cortisol levels.
He will also share new evidence on its ability to enhance gut microbiome biodiversity, further establishing its relevance in the gut-stress connection.
The presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29, at 11:00-11:20 AM at the Product Development Theatre, Booth #8076.
It will be open to all SSG Expo Pass holders.
ThymoQuin has also undergone clinical testing to support a balanced inflammatory response, enhance mitochondrial activity and ATP production, provide exceptional antioxidant effects and exhibit antimicrobial properties.
It is available for use in cosmeceuticals and hair and scalp care under the name B’utyQuin, as well as for oral health under ThymoQuin-OCare.
The powder can be formulated into various product formats, including softgels, creams, serums, lotions, toothpaste, tablets and more.
