Stratum Nutrition, a US supplier of functional ingredients, has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with OraTicx.
The company will be solely responsible for the distribution of OraTicx's range of specialist oral probiotics, including the live strains oraCMU and oraCMS1, as well as the postbiotic form of oraCMU.
The agreement will bring the product range to North America, and will target the oral hygiene category.
OraTicx has published a number of human clinical studies exhibiting oraCMU's ability to promote the balance of the oral microbiome balance, while also helping consumers improve dental health and maintain fresh breath.
In a recently published clinical trial, volunteers taking oraCMU showed significant improvement in their breath scores, while also seeing a reduction in the compounds that can cause bad breath.1
