Sabinsa wins 2023 technology innovation award in China for LactoSpore

Top global corporations as well as Chinese homegrown majors from the functional food, food, and dairy product categories presented their innovations at the forum

Sabinsa has recently won the 2023 Technology Innovation Award at the 3rd Food Formula Innovation Show for its breakthrough product LactoSpore - Weizmannia coagulans MTCC 5856 (Bacillus coagulans). 

Top global corporations as well as Chinese homegrown majors from the functional food, food, and dairy product categories presented their innovations at this forum. Out of 150 technologies and projects presented at the forum, 20 submissions, including Sabinsa Nanjing’s, were recognised, and awarded. These innovations were evaluated based on criteria including degree of innovation, cost optimisation, market value, and customer benefits.

Congratulating the Sabinsa Nanjing team, Dr Muhammed Majeed, Founder and Chairman of Sami-Sabinsa Group, said: “the market for LactoSpore® is growing exponentially as it has become a preferred probiotic for many functional food manufacturers globally due to its natural mechanism of being stable even in adverse environmental conditions and retaining its functionality in various functional foods.”
