Skin radiance is a multifactorial and subjective concept involving skin colour, imperfections and contrast

SkinAx2 will be launched onto the North American market at the SupplySide West 2015.

SkinAx2 is ACTIV’INSIDE's proprietary concept for the restoration of skin radiance from within. SkinAx2's efficacy has been evaluated both subjectively by users themselves and objectively by clinical scoring: 82% of women were satisfied with the dietary supplement after only 2 months of supplementation (single dose of 150mg/day).

SkinAx2 is a combination of four bioavailable ingredients with proven skin effects. It comprises grape flavanols, superoxide dismutase (SOD) from melon, zinc and vitamin C, for an optimal action on skin radiance.

SkinAx2 has been clinically tested in an 8 week interventional trial that assessed both subjective evaluation – by user self-assessment – and objective evaluation, done by clinical scoring. Thirty five women with a dull complexion were supplemented with an oral daily dose of 150mg of SkinAx2 dermatologic control.

'SkinAx2 is for people looking for a natural solution to cope with decreased radiance,' says Mr Lemaire, CEO of ACTIV’INSIDE.

Self-assessments have shown the positive impacts of SkinAx2. When asked, 71% of women found their skin to be more luminous after 8 weeks of supplementation. Similar results have been observed regarding the freshness and homogeneity of the complexion, as well as skin smoothness, firmness, texture and hydration.

After 8 weeks of supplementation, 77% of women claimed that the radiance of their complexion has improved. Clinical results have confirmed these self-assessments. It has been shown that SkinAx2 improves skin luminosity by 25%, while regulating skin colouration. It also improves complexion homogeneity by decreasing important heterogeneity factors — such as dark circles, redness or spots – for a decrease in skin imperfections of 15%.

Skin radiance is a multifactorial and subjective concept involving skin colour, imperfections and contrast. These factors are widely influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors, often associated with oxidative stress.

Each ingredient present in SkinAx2 is involved in complementary mechanisms of action to ensure, first of all, an exhaustive antioxidant protection against oxidative stress. Ingredients also affect melanin synthesis, integrity of the tissue network and preservation of the skin microcirculation. More than 40 publications and validated claims have been identified to support SkinAx2's ingredients on skin radiance.
