US sleep supplement brand Natrol has announced the launch of Natrol Ultra Sleep and Natrol Ultra Energy, alongside a partnership with consumer mental health company Calm.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than one-third of US adults report not getting enough sleep on a regular basis. For many others, even when they do spend enough time in bed, they experience disrupted sleep.
"Falling asleep is only half the challenge," said Rebekah Lyle, Chief Marketing Officer at Natrol.
"What we're hearing is that people aren't just struggling to fall asleep—they're struggling to stay asleep or wake up feeling restored."
Ultra Sleep and Ultra Energy were designed to work with the body's natural rhythms to support better sleep and help energise cells from within.
Natrol describes the new Ultra Sleep as a 3-in-1 sleep support formula designed to deliver the "ultimate sleep experience" and help consumers achieve quality rest.
The supplement is formulated with 5 mg of Melatonin, 100 mg of GABA and tart cherry, lemon balm and chamomile botanicals to support the full sleep cycle, including deep and REM sleep.
The product will be available in gummy and fast-dissolve formats.
The launch also includes Natrol's Ultra Energy, which the brand said is designed to sustain cellular energy support. The product comprises vitamin B12, B-Complex, vitamin D and CoQ10.

Calming collaboration
Natrol's collaboration with Calm will allow consumers to explore sleep stories, meditations, music and soundscapes curated by Natrol in the Calm app.
Natrol said in its statement that the collaboration will help consumers unwind more effectively at night and recharge for the day ahead.
