The nutraceutical sector continues to evolve at pace, driven by innovation in ingredients, processes, manufacturing standards and the growing consumer demand for evidence-based health solutions. In response to this dynamic expansion, Step Exhibitions is proud to launch Making Nutraceuticals, taking place on 21–22 April 2026.
Co-located with the well-established Making Pharmaceuticals and Distributing Pharmaceuticals events, Making Nutraceuticals will bring the food supplement and nutraceutical community together under one roof. Hosted at the same venue, the combined events create a powerful meeting point for manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, contract packers, regulatory specialists and distribution experts operating across both pharmaceutical and nutraceutical markets.
The launch follows strong recommendations from exhibitors who work across both industries and recognise the significant crossover in manufacturing processes, GMP compliance, quality systems and supply chains. By introducing Making Nutraceuticals, we are creating a focused platform to showcase suppliers serving this fast-growing market, while also providing pharmaceutical professionals with the opportunity to explore and expand into the nutraceutical space.
Visitors will benefit from access to nine dedicated conference streams, including a stream specifically focused on nutraceuticals. In addition, eight further streams feature highly topical content covering AI and digitalisation, GMP and compliance, ingredients, packaging, supply chain resilience, sustainability and outsourcing — all critical topics for nutraceutical professionals navigating today’s regulatory and commercial landscape.
The nutraceutical programme on Day 1 includes sessions such as Food Supplements 101 – A Beginners’ Guide from the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), alongside discussions addressing the technical hurdles of bringing nutraceuticals to market. Evidence-based innovation takes centre stage with presentations exploring lifelong health, oxidative stress, inflammation and protein-driven appetite regulation. Sustainability and ethical formulation are also addressed, including a panel discussion on sustainable packaging and a workshop focused on evidence-based solutions for women’s health.
Day 2 continues with insight into smart formulations bridging nutraceuticals and therapeutics, the benefits of outsourcing nutraceutical contract manufacturing and packing in the UK, and key regulatory updates. Sessions led by HFMA, CRN and MHRA will provide clarity on EU food regulation impacts and claims compliance, helping businesses stay confidently on the right side of the law.
Importantly, the event is free to attend, ensuring accessibility for professionals across the sector.

We are incredibly excited to launch Making Nutraceuticals at such a pivotal time for the sector. Nutraceuticals play an increasingly important role in improving health and wellbeing globally, and this event provides a dedicated platform for the industry to come together, share knowledge and drive standards forward. By co-locating with Making Pharmaceuticals, we are creating a unique opportunity for cross-sector collaboration that reflects how closely these industries now work together.
Making Nutraceuticals represents a natural evolution of the event portfolio — reflecting the realities of today’s marketplace and creating new opportunities for growth, knowledge exchange and partnership.
