IMCD announces new global leader for Business Group Food & Nutrition

Emmanuel Colette to assume global leadership role as Marc van Gerwen prepares for retirement

IMCD N.V. ("IMCD" or "Company"), a global leading partner for the distribution and formulation of speciality chemicals and ingredients, today announced that Emmanuel Colette will assume global leadership of its Business Group Food & Nutrition with effect from 1 March 2026, in addition to his current position as Managing Director, IMCD France.

In his expanded role, Emmanuel Colette will guide the global development of Food & Nutrition, strengthening its commercial and technical offering and accelerating the Business Group’s contribution to IMCD’s growth ambitions.

Holding previous management roles in Tipiak and Agrana, Emmanuel joined IMCD in 2012 as Product Manager, Food & Nutrition, and was appointed International Product Manager in 2018. In 2020, he moved to Singapore to lead Food & Nutrition in Asia Pacific and serve as Managing Director of IMCD Singapore. During his time in Asia, Emmanuel helped double the Food & Nutrition business through organic growth, supplier expansion and the acquisition of EurochemoPharma in Malaysia. He has been Managing Director of IMCD France since March 2024.

Emmanuel Colette will be replacing Marc van Gerwen, who will retire on 1 March 2026 after a career spanning 38 years in the chemicals and ingredients industry.
