Concordix highlights chewable emulsion technology at Vitafoods Asia

The company is showcasing its patented chewable emulsion platform at Vitafoods Asia, offering supplement brands a flexible alternative to traditional delivery formats

Concordix is showcasing its patented chewable emulsion delivery technology to Asian supplement brands at Vitafoods Asia this week, as demand grows for convenient, enjoyable and differentiated nutritional products.

The Norwegian-developed platform, created by Vitux AS, is on display at Booth H1-D07 alongside a portfolio of supplement concepts spanning eye health, cognitive health, healthy ageing, prenatal nutrition, beauty from within, children’s nutrition and general wellness.

Vitafoods Asia is taking place from Wednesday 2nd to Friday 4th September in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing together companies across the nutraceutical ingredients, finished products and supplement manufacturing sectors.

Concordix describes its technology as the world’s first chewable emulsion delivery platform.

Protected by a global patent portfolio, it transforms nutritional ingredients into a chewable gelled emulsion containing "submicron droplets."

According to the company, the platform is designed to accommodate a broad range of nutritional ingredients while offering brands an alternative to conventional tablet and capsule formats.

“Asia is one of the most dynamic nutritional markets in the world, with consumers who are highly receptive to new formats, premium products and science-backed innovation,” said Catherine Nardone, VP Marketing at Concordix.

That makes Vitafoods Asia an ideal opportunity for us to demonstrate that supplement innovation isn’t only about discovering the next ingredient. How that ingredient is delivered can be just as important.

Flexible supplement formulation

Concordix said its chewable emulsion format is intended to help formulators address challenges around nutrient payloads, ingredient stability and consumer experience.

The platform can also be used to combine multiple nutritional ingredients within a single product concept, giving supplement brands scope to develop differentiated formulations around specific health needs.

For brands targeting Asian markets, the company said the technology can be customised around regional consumer preferences, ingredient strategies and regulatory requirements.

Concordix works with customers throughout formulation and commercialisation, supporting development around ingredient compatibility, payload, stability and sensory characteristics.

The company is using Vitafoods Asia to demonstrate how its delivery technology can translate into both launch-ready and customised supplement products.

“Our goal is to help customers move beyond simply choosing ingredients and think about the complete delivery experience,” Nardone added.

Concordix gives brands a platform for bringing together science, formulation and consumer experience in one product.

Visitors to Booth H1-D07 can experience the chewable format and discuss opportunities to develop products for Asian and global markets.
