The speciality ingredients solution provider Barentz has announced that it will be exhibiting at Food Ingredients China (FIC).
The trade show is the largest international trade show for the food additives and ingredients industry in Asia and brings together suppliers, manufacturers and innovators from across the rapidly evolving Chinese and international food markets.
According to Barentz, FIC represents a key platform to strengthen its presence in one of the "world's most dynamic food processing markets."
The exhibition offers a chance to connect with customers, partners and industry innovators while showcasing Barentz's portfolio and capabilities alongside leading global principals.
At this year's event, Barentz said it will focus on food and functional food concepts aligned with consumer trends toward natural ingredients and health applications.
The featured concepts will cover active lifestyle support, gut health, cognitive performance, stress management and sleep support.
Visitors to the Barentz booth can enjoy concept demonstrations and tastings, including innovative ice cream formulations from the Barentz China team. These will showcase new ingredients and solutions from Barentz's partner network, including natural flavours and nutraceutical actives for healthier food innovations.
"FIC is always a special moment for us to connect directly with suppliers, partners and customers across the Chinese food industry," said Sue Song, VP Human Nutrition APAC.
This year is particularly exciting as we present two dedicated booths together with our Fengli colleagues for the first time, showcasing both indulgence concepts and innovative health trends.
"We look forward to continuing to grow alongside the dynamic Chinese food market."
China is a key market for Barentz and the company said that it plays a crucial role in driving innovation within its global network.
With a robust ecosystem of high-quality suppliers and progressive food manufacturers, the Chinese market provides "substantial opportunities" for collaboration, product development and long-term growth.
