ZPD has announced that as of 1 January 2017, Frank Marek has been appointed new Executive Managing Director at ZPD A/S. Frank Marek formerly served as Chief Financial Officer in ZPD and has taken over responsibilities from former CEO Hiroyasu Nishioka who now occupies a new position at ZERIA Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. HQ in Tokyo, Japan. In his new role, Frank Marek will be leading ZPD’s strategic business development and help manage the company’s growth.
At the same time, Samer Abou-Houssein has been appointed Head of Sales and will be responsible for developing and managing ZPD’s sales strategies and activities. Prior to this, Samer Abou-Houssein was Key Account Manager at ZPD, where he was in charge of marketing and sales activities mainly in Europe.
