Nonprofit organisation Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN) is now accepting applications to join its Board of Directors.
The four candidates who are elected to the Board will serve either a two or three year term, which will begin in April 2025.
To submit an application, candidates should go via the WIN portal before the submission deadline of January 31 at 11:59PM EST.
Applicants will be invited to participate in events organised by the Nominating Committee, which will allow the group to determine who is most suitable for the role.
Elections for the position will be held between March 24 and April 7.
The Nominating Committee will consider candidates based on the following criteria:
- Qualifications: Do candidates have the appropriate skills, experience and specialist expertise for the role? (This could include legal, networking and fundraising)
- Diversity & inclusion: Does the candidate champion professional diversity?
- Commitment: Is a candidate actively contributing to meetings and events, and will they be available to attend the majority of board meetings held throughout the year? Is a candidate aware of women's issues in the nutraceutical sector and passionate about change?
- Value alignment: Are a candidate's core values in alignment with WIN's overall mission/strategic vision?
- Leadership potential: Can a candidate both think strategically and work collaboratively to implement a strategy?
- Network: Is a candidate able to recruit new members and sponsors?
