What is taste modulation? 

Taste modulation is the process of balancing flavour notes in food and beverages and enhancing certain taste attributes while suppressing others.

In the nutraceutical space, minimising certain off-notes might be more relevant; a greens powder blend, for example, may possess vegetal and grassy notes as well as a mouth-drying sensation.
