TSI Group is expanding its Tailored Script precision nutrition platform into the US and Australia, enabling individually formulated supplements to be manufactured at commercial scale.
Developed during a period of nearly a decade and deployed in real-world settings in China, the platform is entering the two markets through new manufacturing facilities and strategic launch partners.
These include US direct-to-consumer precision nutrition platform Biohax, alongside Australian practitioner-led and direct-to-consumer businesses N of 1 and TMRW.
Rather than matching consumers with existing supplement products or SKUs, Tailored Script is designed to create individualised formulations based on health data, evidence-informed formulation frameworks and AI-assisted insights.
The end-to-end system covers data collection and analysis, formulation creation, precision granule production, automated dispensing, manufacturing and fulfilment.
“The industry has talked about personalised nutrition for years, but personalisation is only meaningful if you can actually manufacture the formula for the individual,” said Joe Zhou, co-founder of TSI Group.
Tailored Script was built to make the entire process possible. It gives brands and practitioners the ability to create truly individualised supplement formulas, not just individualised recommendations.
Precision granules enable individualised formulations
A key element of the platform is its proprietary manufacturing system, which uses approximately 3 mm precision granules contained in pods.
Each granule carries a precisely measured dose of an ingredient, enabling multiple ingredients to remain separate until they are assembled into an individual's daily formulation.
According to TSI Group, the approach is designed to address manufacturing challenges associated with highly variable formulations, including ingredient compatibility, stability, dosage accuracy and production complexity.
The system can combine vitamins, minerals, botanicals and other bioactive ingredients into an individualised supplement formulation.
Tailored Script was originally developed in response to challenges functional medicine practitioners face and supports different personalisation models, from wellness questionnaires and targeted health programmes to biomarker-informed and practitioner-directed protocols.
TSI Group said it will now pursue a selective global expansion strategy, evaluating partnerships based on strategic fit, health data capabilities and commitment to precision nutrition.
The company described the expansion as a step towards making N-of-1 supplementation commercially viable by providing the infrastructure required to formulate and manufacture supplements at the individual level and scale production.
