Roquette has announced its attendance to this year's Fi Europe.
Situated at booth G60 in hall 3.1, the company will be showcasing its functional food solutions and plant-based alternatives.
Attendees will also be able to engage with virtual consumer personas, while exploring novel food concepts created by Roquette's application experts.
The company will also be spilling the (fava) beans on current trends in the plant-based nutrition space — specifically related to sustainability and health.
At the event, Roquette will showcase:
- NUTRALYS Fava S900M: A recently launched fava bean protein with a 90% protein content, which will be exhibited in FiE's New Product Zone. The solution is designed to boost the nutritional value of functional food products, while also being a sustainable alternative to other protein sources available on the market
- A tomato, feta and herb savoury cake containing NUTRIOSE FB06 soluble fibre and NUTRALYS B85F pea protein, which offers both an appealing texture and a nutritional formula with a high protein and fibre content
- A dairy-free, protein-rich, plant-based dessert made with NUTRALYS Fava S900M protein, which is tasty and sustainable, according to Roquette
- Plant-based tacos with high-fibre tortillas made with NUTRIOSE FB06 soluble fibre and NUTRALYS B85F plant protein. On the side is guacamole that contains tapioca-based modified starch CLEARAM TR3010. Inside the tacos is a plant-based meat alternative made with NUTRALYS T Pea 700M.
- Lemon-flavoured, algae-based DHA gummies containing DHA oil and CLEARGUM PG 9020 modified starch, they are an easy and convenient way to consume omega-3.
"Our focus at FiE this year is firmly fixed on positive nutrition, which is all about creating appetizing concepts that deliver on both taste and nutrition, while addressing the needs of a more health-conscious and environmentally aware world," said Valérie Le Bihan, Head of Customer Marketing Europe at Roquette.
"Our over-arching aim is to address the needs of consumers by helping our customers solve the challenges they can face in developing brand-new end-products and we’re excited to offer attendees a true taste of what’s on the horizon for food innovation."
The Roquette team will be hosting live cooking demonstrations, allowing attendees to sample some of these exciting new food concepts firsthand and see how Roquette’s ingredients work in real-world applications.
Visitors can learn about the technical expertise behind each formulation and how Roquette helps its customers to develop healthier, tastier and more sustainable food products.
"Our food concepts are designed to inspire our partners and create healthier, plant-based options," added Christine Beauvois, Head of Customer Technical Services Europe at Roquette.
"These delicious and indulgent creations demonstrate how plant-based innovations can not only meet, but surpass consumer expectations. We’re proud to be forging a new era of food experiences and invite partners and prospects to join us on the journey."
