NXT USA has partnered with analytical laboratory Twin Arbor Labs to establish the first independent testing method for Xeya Modern Shatavari.
The testing will independently validate the methodology and performance of test results developed by Laila Nutra, the India-based supplier partner of Xeya.
"This allows our customers independent validation of our raw material, something that's missing in the market," said Eric Anderson, Managing Director of NXT USA.
You should have independent labs run methods and confirm the active content of ingredients.
Twin Arbor Labs designed a specialised analytical method to quantify total shatavarin levels by isolating four distinct shatavarin compounds.
Using HPLC-ELSD, Twin Arbor’s test results matched the baseline data from Laila Nutra "extremely well."
This third-party verification is crucial as the demand for transparent, science-backed botanical ingredients in women's health grows.
NXT USA said that it aligns this third-party validation with clinical research to ensure each batch matches the composition used in human trials, promoting hormonal balance for women from reproductive age through menopause.
"Accurate quantification of shatavarins is critical for verifying the potency and quality of Asparagus racemosus botanical ingredients," said Dr Christopher Grey, Chief Operating Officer and Quality Control Director, Twin Arbor Labs.
The strong interlaboratory agreement and the successful verification using the Shatavarin IV CRM demonstrate that the method is robust and transferable.
The pair said that this analytical approach enables precise measurement of the full shatavarin composition, including key peaks corresponding to Shatavarin I & IV. This method will only be available to Xeya customers.
By pairing ingredient clinical validation with independent laboratory testing, NXT USA said it has reinforced ingredient credibility across the full lifecycle, from raw material sourcing to finished extract.
"Clinical results are only as meaningful as the material behind them," added Anderson.
Partnering with Twin Arbor Labs allows us to independently confirm that every batch of Xeya Modern Shatavari meets the same standards used in our clinical research.
"This is how we uphold our commitment to delivering ingredients that are not only effective, but also verifiable, reproducible and trusted by our partners."
