As part of Pukka’s relaunched supplement range, the company is offering a blend of ashwagandha, chamomile and lavender called Inner Peace, which is designed to support peace of mind.
Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb that helps to nourish and relax, supporting long term resilience, while lavender has traditionally been used to support restless sleep and soothes anxiety.
Formulated using ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients, the company claims, the supplement’s ingredients work synergistically to improve effectiveness.
It also comes in recyclable and compostable packaging, and is naturally caffeine-free, meaning it can be taken at any time of day.
Jo Webber, Head of Herbal Education at Pukka and Ayurvedic Practitioner (BSc) says: “Recent research shows that nearly half (49%) of UK adults admit to feeling stressed five or more days each month, with the typical adult feeling stressed approximately 8.27 days per month. While some stress can be positive, too much of it can have a disastrous effect on virtually every aspect of our health. All of us are beautifully unique and have different ways of managing our busy lifestyles but nature can lend a helping hand. Naturally de-stress with calming chamomile and ashwagandha. The calm range is perfect for creating an overall sense of peace and relaxation.”
The company is also offering the Night Time herbal supplement, designed to aid sleep and help users wake up rested and refreshed. It includes valerian, a sleep-supporting herb with sedative and anxiety relieving properties, as well as gotu kola, a herb traditionally used to gently ease an agitated mind. The Night Time supplement also includes ashwagandha, lavender and chamomile.
