OmniActive delivers unique speaking sessions, science and market insights to Hi Europe 2016

OmniActive Health Technologies will be presenting two highly anticipated speaking sessions during Hi Europe 2016, both on Tuesday 29 November at the Mintel Global Speaking Theatre

The first session, The Macular Carotenoids and High Energy Blue Light, which runs from 13:30-13:55, will discuss high-energy blue light, its sources and ways to help support healthy vision from its effects with lutein and zeaxanthin isomers (RR- and RS (meso)-zeaxanthin).

Attendees will also be provided with a review of new clinical results from a number of studies testing supplementation of Lutemax 2020 Lutein with Enhanced Levels of Zeaxanthin Isomers, including the pioneering B.L.U.E (Blue Light User Exposure) Study, which demonstrated beneficial effects on ocular health and performance, sleep quality and eye strain and fatigue in those individuals with long duration exposure to digital screens and other sources of high-energy blue light.

The second session, Curcumin and Bioavailability with a Purpose, will take place from 16:00-16:25. Higher bioavailability isn’t enough anymore to make a formulation stand out — a multipronged, purposeful approach is required.

This session will discuss the latest trends and science in the bioavailable curcumin category to differentiate in a crowded marketplace, as well as the results of the FloMeD (Flow Mediated Dilation) Study, which showed that long-term supplementation with an optimal dose of curcuminoids from CurcuWIN Curcumin with Enhanced Absorption helped support healthy blood flow and circulation.
