Utah-based nutrition company Momentous has announced the launch of Momentous Signature Spec Creatine — a reformulated version of its best-selling product.
The company called it a "major upgrade," saying the new product was "one of the highest quality creatine products in the history of the supplement category."
"Creatine is a proven daily essential for both body and brain, and when a supplement becomes part of your everyday routine, quality isn't optional," said Momentous CEO and co-founder Jeff Byers.

The new Momentous Signature Spec Creatine promises ten times tighter purity controls than the industry's premium standard, as well as contaminant screening for PFAS and microplastics — neither of which the industry standards require.
Momentous added that the product will also be tested to meet two- to five-times tighter limits for lead, mercury and cadmium than the industry's premium standard.
It will be manufactured in a pharmaceutical facility and purified through an advanced reverse-osmosis water filtration process rather than by chemical washing, as in most commodity creatines, which Momentous said resulted in fewer residual impurities and a cleaner final product.
The reformulated product is then micronised into an ultrafine powder that mixes effortlessly into water without clumping, grit, or residue, ensuring every milligram in a serving is easily consumed.
Signature Spec Creatine is built to the brand's rigorous Momentous Standard, which it says sets it apart from industry norms through a unique six-stage independent testing process.
To eliminate contamination risks that often arise during transport, every batch is thoroughly verified across numerous markers, including microplastics, heavy metals and forever chemicals.
This testing is conducted by elite independent laboratories such as EuroFins, Light Labs and SuppCo's blind-purchase TESTED programme.
This extensive scrutiny has secured an NSF Certified for Sport designation, guaranteeing a clean, banned-substance-free product that represents the highest standard of supplement quality and transparency.
