InnovoPro and Ingredion set to showcase protein and dairy free solutions at IFT First

Attendees at IFT First can savour InnovoPro's plant-based tacos, while at Ingredion's stand the company will be showcasing its portfolio of dairy-free solutions

InnovoPro, a leading provider of chickpea protein solutions, is set to make waves at IFT First in Chicago. 

At booth S1767, visitors will enjoy a unique culinary experience with InnovoPro's fully plant-based Mexican menu. This sensory fiesta redefines traditional Mexican cuisine, highlighting the company's innovative chickpea protein platform as an authentic, flavourful, and sustainable alternative for diverse food applications. 

Attendees at IFT First can savour InnovoPro's plant-based tacos with fiery ground chorizo and plant-based chicken, made possible by CP-XTURA65, the world's first chickpea-based textured vegetable protein (TVP). 

InnovoPro, known for innovative dairy-free and 100% egg-white replacement solutions, will also showcase smoky Chipotle and traditional Crema Mexican sauces developed using their flagship product, CP-Pro70. 

In addition, Ingredion, a leading global provider of ingredient solutions to the food manufacturing industry, is featuring beverage, snack and sauce prototypes featuring chickpea and pea protein blends at IFT First booth S1129. 

This collaboration expands the availability of next-gen chickpea proteins across North America following a recent joint distribution announcement of both companies.

70% of US consumers actively seek protein in their diet, according to Ingredion’s 2023 All About Proteins Consumer research study. “Our distribution partnership with InnovoPro allows us to provide food and beverage manufacturers with chickpea-based protein solutions to answer consumer’s need for protein while meeting manufacturer’s cost-in-use and functionality requirements,” added Dan Kennedy, Ingredion’s US and Canada business development and platform director for plant-based proteins.
