Botanical ingredient supplier Ethical Naturals will highlight its new branded ingredients, GreenGrown-GCS and MachaWave, at this year's SupplySide Global show, held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada, from October 28-30.
Launched in early October, the company now offers GreenGrown-GCS, a proprietary blend of glucosamine HCl and high-purity chondroitin sulfate designed as an alternative to animal-based joint health supplements.
The product is produced through fermentation from non-GMO sources, which offers formulators a product with a better sustainability profile.
ENI also recently launched MachaWave, which combines AlphaWave L-Theanine with organic matcha tea.
The ingredient is designed for use in multi-functional beverages, including calming and sports-related products, with benefits such as balanced energy, stress support, and cognitive performance.
The company cited growing consumer demand "for products that support both energy and mental well-being," as well as high demand for stress-relief supplements.
Four clinical studies back the hero ingredient, AlphaWave L-Theanine, showing a significant increase in alpha brainwave activity and resulting relaxation and cognitive benefits.
The ingredient is GRAS-affirmed in the US and is the only source of L-Theanine approved for use in Australia by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
