Clasado Biosciences, a developer of prebiotic ingredients for the human gut microbiome, has appointed Shelley Brathwaite as Digital Marketing Manager.
Brathwaite will be responsible for shaping and guiding the online presence of Bimuno, the company’s range of consumer-facing prebiotic supplements, developed by Clasado. Her responsibilities include driving brand growth through the company’s communication strategies and the development of the online sales platform.
With more than 10 years FMCG experience, Brathwaite has held marketing roles at brands including Arm & Hammer, Nair and Andrex.
Per Rehné, CEO at Clasado Biosciences, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Shelley to our growing team. Shelley’s experience across the personal care sector is invaluable as we continue to extend the reach of the Bimuno range. It’s clear that gut health is rapidly surging to the top of the agenda as we get to grips with a new age of consumer enlightenment, which makes this an ideal time to shore up our activity and continue to amplify our key gut health messages. We’re looking forward to seeing Shelley make her mark on the business.”
Brathwaite added: “We’ve reached a real turning point in consumer understanding, culminating in the first Global Prebiotics Week just last year. Prebiotics are seeing rapid growth around the world as consumers get more engaged with their health and the benefits of a well-supported gut microbiome. What makes Bimuno unique is that as well as a leading range of prebiotic supplements, it’s also an important source of knowledge, tapping into the extensive expertise at Clasado Biosciences. I’ll be playing my part in the evolution of the Bimuno brand, aiming to make better gut health more accessible than ever before.”
