Botalys, the Belgian rare medicinal plant producer, has become the reference supplier of Ginseng raw material to Nutrisan and Terry Naturally Vitamins following new orders for HRG80, its flagship hydroponic ginseng product.
For the Botalys, these contracts mark "a great acknowledgement" for the ingredient launched only a year ago.
A Belgian company, Nutrisan develops natural food supplements and makes no concessions in terms of quality and purity. The company has just released a new product, commercialised under the name FocuSan, which contains a complex of B vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B12) and mostly Botalys’ HRG80 ginseng.
The new launch has been designed to help improve resistance against stress at work and overcome daily challenges. It will be available in pharmacies and parapharmacies without prescription.
Wesley Guerra, Chief Innovation Officer at Nutrisan, commented: “Nutrisan has always been an advocate of using herbal ingredients with the most natural profile.
"This innovative technology of Botalys combines exactly what Nutrisan stands for: highest purity and efficacy respecting the natural phytomatrix. On top, we are proud to embrace Belgian technology that offers our customers unique strengths from nature."
Terry Naturally, part of Europharma group, has chosen Botalys’ ginseng to launch new high-quality products to the US market.
Headquartered in Green Bay, in the US state of Wisconsin, Terry Naturally is recognised for its knowledge in terms of natural health science. CEO Terry Lemerond has over 45 years of experience in the health food industry.
Botalys said Europharma selected HRG80 over other ginseng sources, after a long time searching for a premium and pure ginseng. Its HRG80 ingredient will enter in the composition of two new Terry Naturally products to be launched later this year and will be distributed exclusively across America and Canada mainly through independent pharmacies.
Commenting on its ingredient, Paul-Evence Coppée, Botalys co-CEO, said: “HRG80 ginseng powder was developed in the aim of proposing the world’s best ginseng. To reach this goal, Botalys has spent six years researching and developing the product, allowing its teams to develop a worldwide unique process of vertical hydroponics that allows cultivating ginseng in entirely controlled conditions and in the greatest respect for the environment."
For Coppée, this innovative process allows obtaining an ultra-pure ginseng powder with exceptional and constant quality. "We are today proud to offer to reference clients who share the same will of offering well-being through plants," he concluded.
