Polaris, a French specialist in nutritional lipids, is expanding its international export business after receiving authorisation to sell its products onto Brazil’s nutraceutical market.

The Brazilian ministry of agriculture (MAPA) has authorised the sale of Polaris' natural and concentrated marine oils in the Omegavie range in the country.

Polaris is further reinforcing its presence in South America by appointing a distributor in Brazil. The company says consumer habits in the country are similar to those in France : they are very targeted at health and beauty.
