Gelita has announced it will be exhibiting at SupplySide East, discussing its bioactive collagen peptide (BCP) product ranges for sports nutrition supplements. The company will also showcase its Controlled Release portfolio of softgel and hard-capsule delivery systems. It’s also sponsoring an education session at the event entitled: ‘Dietary supplement delivery forms for future growth’.
Gelita’s BCP range is designed to support active lifestyles, improving performance and health through addressing condition-specific needs. According to the company, products in the range are clinically substantiated for supporting ligaments and tendons, joint health and mobility, bone mass and stability, as well as muscle strength and body toning.
The company will also highlight its Verisol collagen ingredient for beauty-from-within applications, targeting skin, nail and hair health.
These ingredients can be formulated with various delivery systems. Different types of gelatin in the company’s release profile portfolio can modify the effect, timing, and duration of the ingredient’s release. Gelita EC is a gelatin product for enteric performance of soft gel, while its RXL format offers reduced cross-linking and improved shelf stability, the company says.
