At Cosmoprof Bologna (20–22 March), Laboratoire PYC will be unveiling two new nutricosmetics formulas available under white label. Discover REVOLISTIC COLLAGEN®, the first orodispersible collagen, and HAIR BLOOM CERAMIDES®, a totally plant-based hair food supplement formula.
The French laboratory, based in Aix-en-Provence, draws its inspiration from nature to develop food supplements that enhance beauty. The formulas are based on carefully selected ingredients with proven efficacy for skin and hair. Laboratoire PYC produces all its food supplements in France.
Nutricosmetics cover all oral supplementation solutions that nourish the skin, hair, and nails. Laboratoire PYC develops orodispersible or water-soluble powder formulas. The formulas are scientifically documented, clean label, and packaged in sticks, sachets, stand-up pouches, or jars.

REVOLISTIC COLLAGEN®
REVOLISTIC COLLAGEN® is the very first orodispersible collagen powder highly concentrated in collagen di- and tripeptides. This orodispersible collagen powder melts directly in the mouth, so it can be used without water—a simple way to follow a beauty routine effectively. Each formula comes in a flavoured stick to go.
REVOLISTIC® technology incorporates a very low molecular weight collagen—500 Dalton—with a high concentration of di- and tripeptides for rapid absorption and bioavailability. In particular, REVOLISTIC COLLAGEN® provides four times more highly bioactive peptides than ordinary collagen (2–3k Dalton). It contains 45% di- and tripeptides compared with an average of 10% in standard collagen. This optimised absorption means a lower daily dose of collagen, with a single stick containing 2 grams of collagen being enough to be effective every day.
Three natural flavours are available: blackcurrant, vanilla, and pear. Laboratoire PYC can develop tailor-made flavours for customer brands, thanks to 20 years of expertise in the formulation and flavouring of food supplements.

HAIR BLOOM CERAMIDES®
HAIR BLOOM CERAMIDES® is a powder supplement formula to be dissolved in water. It is composed entirely of plant extracts enriched with zinc and vitamin B8. Laboratoire PYC has chosen phytoceramides in particular—Ceramosides™—for their effectiveness over three months on hair growth (+12%), hair strength (+97%), and their effect on sebum (-12% oily hair).
In addition to its effectiveness, the formula's major assets are its high solubility, its natural Herbal Bliss taste combining natural fruit and flower aromas, and its clean label composition. Laboratoire PYC has been committed to this natural approach since 2017. The idea is to give pride of place to the active ingredients and to let the rest of the ingredients serve either as a support (vegetable support) or to provide a pleasant, natural flavour (natural flavouring, stevia). This means that no other superfluous ingredients are added.
Laboratoire PYC recommends taking HAIR BLOOM CERAMIDES® once a day for three months. This formula can also be fully customised by third-party brands, both in terms of formulation and packaging.

The nutricosmetics market is booming, with an average annual growth of 8%. Nutricosmetics formulas have attracted a great deal of interest in recent years, as part of a holistic approach to overall well-being and expectations in terms of sensory experience.
