A novel clinical study published in Nutrients has confirmed the 'superior' bioavailability of Lubrizol Nutraceutical's MAGSHAPE magnesium oxide micronised microcapsules.

The trial, which was conducted by researchers at contract research laboratory Bionos Biotech, found that MAGSHAPE could outperform other common salts used in dietary supplement formulations, such as magnesium oxide, bisglycinate, citrate and bicarbonate.

This highlights the potential of MAGSHAPE as a bioavailable source of magnesium, while also touting the benefits of micronisation and microencapsulation for improved ingredient performance.
