Life Cider has appointed Shawn Wells at its Chief Scientific Officer.
In this role, Wells will work with the team to develop Life Cider's growing product line.
He will bring his extensive background in formulation, biochemistry and clinical nutrition to the role, providing insights and helping the brand to succeed.
During his career, Shawn has formulated more than 1,000 products, while amassing more than 40 patents on novel ingredients.
While he works as the CSO for Life Cider, Shawn will act as the CEO of Zone Halo Formulations, a consulting firm that guides clients in the supplement formulation and functional food and beverage industries.
Wells has joined the company after its expansion into Utah and Texas, with the functional beverage brand available at Harmons Neighbourhood Grocer and Central Market locations, respectively.
