Time-tested, scientifically verified solutions for the health problems of our time

This International AyurVeda Congress is aimed at raising awareness of the time-tested knowledge of AyurVeda with up-to-date insights from modern science amongst healthcare practitioners and the general public.

Thirty leading Ayurvedic practitioners and researchers from around the world will come together to showcase scientifically verified solutions to today’s problems in the fields of individual and public health.

Jointly organised by the All India Ayurvedic Congress, the International Maharishi AyurVeda Foundation and the International Academy of Ayurveda, this congress is part of a combined effort to bring to light a healthcare system that is holistic, prevention-oriented, cost-effective and capable of leading the world towards an increasingly disease-free society.

All health professionals wishing to expand the scope and effectiveness of their medical practice are invited to attend. In addition, policy makers and administrators in the field of health are invited to join the congress to gain insights to improve healthcare and reduce costs.

A leading speaker at the congress, Dr Ulrich Bauhofer from Germany, says: 'During the past decades, AyurVeda has become very popular in the West. Many people are travelling to India and Sri Lanka but also to Europe where many Ayurvedic clinics have opened.'

'Although many people connect AyurVeda with the well-known technique of oil massage, they are not aware of the deep wisdom contained in Ayurvedic medicine. Breakthrough research uncovering the intimate link between consciousness and the physiology will be presented, locating the inner healing intelligence of the human physiology.

Bauhofer goes on to say: 'This congress will show the great opportunity Ayurvedic medicine can provide to solve some of the major health problems of our time.'
