Specialty chemical and ingredients distributor IMCD Group has opened a novel Food & Nutrition Technical Centre in Dubai.
This follows the company's significant growth in the Middle Eastern and Egyptian markets during the past five years.
IMCD already has professionals based in Dubai, as well as in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Cairo, Egypt.
By further expanding into this region, the group hopes to foster further collaborations in the region — helping its customers to address complex formulation challenges.
The Technical Centre will serve as an innovation hub, with ingredient development laboratories on site to create novel concepts and technical solutions.
IMCD's Dubai centre is one of more than 80 across the globe, and will leverage its experts' local expertise to help customers in the region.
The facility was officially inaugurated by the group's CEO Valerie Diele-Braun and the Regional Managing Director Manual Baumann, as well as senior executives and partners.
