Omega-3 expert Golden Omega has obtained the sustainability certification, SSIndex, for the second year running.

The Stakeholders Sustainability Index (SSINDEX) helps companies and investors to anticipate risks and reduce costs by cross-analysing ESG (environmental, social and governance) information from employees, clients, suppliers, communities, and investors.

The SSIndex also improves the traditional engagement surveys tools by interconnecting information and identifying specific lines of action due to its proprietary methodology.

The global assessment obtained by Golden Omega for its ESG performance allowed it to opt for the certification granted by the entity, which reached 72% in all its stakeholders, a figure 5% higher than the average of SSIndex 2022 companies.

Likewise, Golden Omega was certified during 2022 in its management of collaborators, clients and suppliers, groups in which it obtained an average score of 77%, 84% and 87%, respectively.

This indicator, created by academics from prestigious universities in the United States, makes it possible to identify and manage sources of risk and sustainability through a complete analysis of the stakeholders consulted.
