Gencor has announced its sponsorship with the renowned England International cricket player Danni Wyatt.
Danni Wyatt recently played in the Women’s Ashes Series and was announced Player of the T20 Series. According to The Guardian, this year’s attendance set new records with more than 94,000 tickets sold, nearly three times the total attendance for the previous Women’s Ashes held in 2019.
“We have a deep commitment to sports and active nutrition not only from an ingredient perspective, but also from personal passion – and this sentiment is shared throughout Gencor,” said R.V. Venkatesh, Co-Founder of Gencor. “We’re proud to partner with amazing competitors like Danni to help advance females in sport and further promote the health and well-being of athletes.”
Nearly all Gencor’s employees have a vested interest in sports, for example, R.V. Venkatesh was invited to umpire the 2023 T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier. Ruchita Venkatesh, his daughter, and Gencor’s Global Innovations Manager, Mariko Hill, are both members of the National Hong Kong Women’s Cricket Team, competing on the professional world stage and at T20.
Mariko also won the International Women's Cricketer of the Year award in Hong Kong for her past year's performance. Finally, Maggie McNamara, Marketing Director at Gencor, has her 17-year-old daughter, Chloe McNamara, who just participated in the Water Polo Junior Olympics 2023 bringing home Bronze for their team, and placed third at the recent International Invitational Hawaii Water Polo Tournament earlier this month.
