Visitors can explore four flagship solutions for the healthy ageing market in the Premium Substances zone. In addition, a presentation in the seminar theatre will showcase Euromed’s clinically studied persimmon extract perFix® – a natural solution that supports weight management and body composition.
Mediterranean plants naturally provide a wide range of valuable bioactives associated with benefits relating to longevity – from cardiovascular and metabolic health, digestive and immune support, to beauty and skeletal muscle performance. Alongside Mediterranean fruit and vegetable extracts such as pomegranate, olive, lemon, fig, cucumber, spinach, artichoke and persimmon, Euromed will also present its branded products Prosterol®, Ethis-094TM and Silactive®.
Persimmon extract for healthy body composition
perFix®, part of Euromed’s Mediterranean Extracts range, is a standardised persimmon fruit extract clinically studied for its potential to support weight management and healthy body composition. In a 16-week randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in overweight adults, perFix® was shown to support reductions in body weight and fat mass, particularly in the abdominal area, while preserving muscle mass. Visitors will learn more about the study findings and the ingredient’s potential to support weight loss in a Seminar Theatre session on February 4, 2026 at 3pm.
Broad range of science-backed botanical solutions
In addition to perFix®, Euromed will highlight its pomegranate extract Pomanox®, which is backed by more than 19 published studies and additional ongoing clinical trials. As it is rich in polyphenols, particularly punicalagin, it aligns well with consumer demand for wellbeing and healthy ageing solutions inspired by the Mediterranean diet, which is rich in polyphenols. For mobility-focused, active ageing concepts, the company offers Spisar®, derived from spinach, and CuberUp®, from cucumber.
Both ingredients have proven muscle and joint benefits, respectively, and are backed by solid research from published human studies. Visitors can also discover Wellemon® – a premium lemon extract standardised to eriocitrin, a highly water-soluble and clinically bioavailable lemon flavanone for antioxidant protection, metabolic wellness, vitality and healthy ageing formulations – as well as the rest of the company’s Mediterranean extracts, such as Mediteanox® olive fruit extract, a powerful antioxidant for cardiovascular health, ABAlife® fig extract for healthy glucose management, and Cynamed®, an artichoke bud extract for digestive and microbiome health.

Research suggests silibinin – the key active ingredient in milk thistle – may have potential benefits beyond liver support, including weight management, cardiovascular and immune health.
