The US-based biotech company specialises in the discovery and development of novel bioactives, with a majority of its ideas coming through the Forager software.
From the Forager platform, Brightseed has already developed Bio Gut Fiber, a gut health-supporting fibre solution derived from hemp that may support healthy gut barrier function, according to emerging preclinical studies.
Brightseed's achievement highlights Forager's potential in accelerating the development of efficacious bioactives.
This is the fourth award the company has achieved for the platform, with previous acknowledgements on the R&D 100 list, as well as the Forbes AI 50 list.
