Fi Europe Innovation Awards adds four new categories to its honorary lineup

Published: 24-Jul-2024

The four new award categories reflect the recent industry trends and growth patterns, keeping attendees aware of the best innovations in F&B industry

The Fi Europe Innovation Awards run by Informa Markets has included four new categories in its lineup this year: dairy alternative innovation, food manufacturing, pet food innovation and future food tech innovation.

These additions bring the total award categories up to nine, which aim to focus on showcasing the latest trends in the food industry.

The Fi Europe Innovation Awards honour the people, teams and organisations that are driving positive changes in the F&B industry, as well as those spearheading innovation in the space.

Participants benefit not only from international recognition and publicity, but also from the networking opportunities that the event can provide.

The awards are judged by a panel of industry professionals, and are open to companies who are exhibiting at Fi Europe 2024 — except from the Diversity & Inclusion Award, which is open to any organisation.

The deadline for entries is September 9, after which date finalists will be contacted.

Entry to the Fi Europe Innovation Awards on the 19 November is included in the Fi Europe 2024 VIP pass.

The nine awards categories are:

  • Dairy Alternative Innovation Award
  • Diversity & Inclusion Award
  • Food Manufacturing Award
  • Future Foodtech Innovation Award
  • Health Innovation Award
  • Pet Food Innovation Award
  • Sensory Innovation Award
  • Sustainability Innovation Award

Yannick Verry, Brand Director, Food ingredients Europe & Americas, comments: “We felt it was time to expand our award categories to keep pace with the evolution of the industry as a whole. The category changes recognise the exciting advancements that are being made in dairy alternative ingredients and the growing role that tech is playing in solutions development. The introduction of a food manufacturing award reflects the F&B industry’s heightened focus on efficiency, food safety and waste reduction, whilst the new pet food innovation accolade signals an exciting expansion into a dynamic sector.”
