Clasado Biosciences has recently achieved ISO 9001:2015 accreditation for its Quality Management Systems

The ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, awarded by independent assessment business LRQA, marks a significant milestone for Clasado and a clear roadmap for continuous improvement.

Per Rehné (pictured), CEO at Clasado, said: "We’re going through a period of tremendous growth and global expansion. This is even more vital as we enter new global distribution partnerships, and push prebiotics ever further into the spotlight."

ISO 9001:2015 is the most widely recognised quality management standard and provides a robust framework to establish, maintain, and continually improve internal quality management systems.

To gain accreditation, the Clasado business has been comprehensively audited against the seven quality management principles upon which ISO9001:2015 requirements are based.

These are customer focus, leadership, employee engagement, process control, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management.

As Clasado Biosciences focuses on strategic global growth, ISO 9001:2015 certification solidifies its commitment to delivering gut microbiome-focused functional ingredients that meet the highest quality standards.
