Natural Remedies has been recognised by the United States Pharmacopeial (USP) Convention with a Platinum Donor Recognition trophy. The award was given for the company's participation in USP’s standards-setting activities in 2018.
Ronald T Piervincenzi, CEO of USP said: “Natural Remedies contribution adds significant public benefit to the standards-setting process in support of the USP mission which is to improve global health through public standards and related programmes that help ensure quality, safety and benefit of medicines and foods.”
The Indian company contributed to improving the quality of Indian botanicals with active participation in the preparation of analytical monographs for various international pharmacopoeias.
Natural Remedies is also a manufacturer and supplier of phytochemical reference standards from Indian medicinal plants, which are being used for quality and research purposes globally.
Anurag Agarwal, CEO of Natural Remedies said that the company's goal is similar to USP, aiming to help protect and improve the health of people around the world.
