Deerland Enzymes & Probiotics to launch Solarplast antiageing ingredient at Engredea

Published: 1-Mar-2018

Deerland Enzymes & Probiotics, an international enzyme and probiotic-based dietary supplement formulator and contract manufacturer, will introduce its newest branded product, Solarplast, at this year’s Engredea/Expo West trade show in Anaheim (CA, USA)

Solarplast is an extract of organic dark leafy greens, which is enzymatically enhanced by a unique and proprietary manufacturing process.

It utilises the power of the chloroplasts found in dark leafy greens to provide a rich source of molecular chaperones and antioxidants, all in a naturally occurring lipid protective coating.

Solarplast provides a host of benefits for healthy ageing, optimising the body’s processes through natural energy and repair mechanisms.

“The isolated chloroplasts from dark leafy greens, such as spinach, contain organelles that convert light to energy, working at a cellular level to assist in healthy ageing,” explains Dr John Deaton, Vice President of Science and Technology.

Solarplast contains massive natural concentrations of antioxidants, energy molecules and molecular chaperones.

“Each of these components plays a role in healthy ageing by repairing the damage done to our bodies through our everyday modern lives,” Deaton adds.

Solarplast is an ideal ingredient technology for products geared toward healthy ageing, beauty-from-within and general digestive health.

The green powder can be delivered through traditional supplement capsules, powder blends such as protein or smoothie mixes, as well as finished food and beverage products.

Engredea and Expo West attendees are invited to visit the Deerland booth 3617 to learn more about Solarplast and the science behind it, as well as the company’s eight other branded products.

Deerland’s experts will be on hand to discuss product formulation ideas.
