Jim Hamilton now heads Neptune Technologies as President and CEO

He has spent 30 years in the development, manufacturing, marketing and sales of nutraceutical products

Jim Hamilton has officially begun his tenure as President and CEO of Neptune Technologies & Bioressources, a Canadian developer of marine-derived omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.

He has joined the company from DSM Nutritional Products USA.

Pierre Fitzgibbon, Chairman of Neptune's Board of Directors, said Hamilton brings 'complementary abilities to the current management team and he is the right person to lead the Corporation forward into its next phase of growth and success'.

Hamilton has worked in the nutrition industry for 30 years and said he has been watching Neptune's progress over the years.

'I look forward to working together with Neptune's Board and management team as we continue to solidify the business and reaffirm our role as a premier krill oil manufacturer,' he said.
