A recent human clinical study has found that functional beverage formulated with common energy drink ingredients caffeine, ginseng, taurine and vitamins B1+B6+C can benefit cognition, mood and overall energy.

The ‘Energize’ shot by Ryde was tested in 37 adults aged between 18 and 30, and was shown to benefit participants by enhancing cognitive performance and speed, while also reducing mental fatigue associated with prolonged intensive cognition.

According to the researchers at the Water Street Collective, the results of this study suggest that caffeine, ginseng, taurine and soluble vitamins may work in synergy to elicit these benefits.
