Antonio Marín Fernández will lead the Supply Chain Excellence Centre of Blendhub, a Spanish company specialising in formulation and food powder blending for the agri-food industry.
Marín Fernández has extensive experience in procurement, after more than three decades in the food industry. He has spent most of his career at the Dhul Group, where he started in 1979, and had different responsibilities related to the management of plants and the purchasing of ingredients.
From August 2013 until joining Blendhub, Marín Fernández was Industrial Deputy Director at Postres Lácteos Romar.
Blendhub's Supply Chain Excellence Centre is responsible for the procurement of raw material for the production of food powder blends, allowing customers to optimise their logistics, by reducing costs in the supply chain and locating the best quality ingredients. This Centre is one of six operated by the company, covering all areas related to the development of functional ingredients and food powder blends.
The company has also welcomed Alberto Bago Cobo to the Supply Chain Excellence Centre; Carmina Regúlez to the sales team; Xavier Trias, Industrial Engineer into the factory area; Rafael Naranjo, has joined Portable Powder Blending (PPB), a new division of Blendhub; and María Dolores Meseguer and María José Mateo, have become part of the professional team.
