Clasado Biosciences ('Clasado'), a global leader in the development of clinically proven prebiotic ingredients and product solutions for the human gut microbiome, has bolstered its North American presence with two key commercial appointments.
The new appointments build on Clasado’s growing momentum in the North American region, where the business supplies its multi award-winning and GRAS approved prebiotic ingredient, Bimuno GOS, to the health and nutrition market.
Dr Frederic Narbel, Vice President of Sales at Clasado, said: “The prebiotic category is gathering pace internationally and Bimuno GOS is shining on the world’s nutrition stage. As we strengthen our foothold in North America, we are delighted to welcome Dominic and Heather to the team. Both bring a wealth of industry experience and a real passion for making microbiome modulation accessible.
By putting science first, we are helping formulators stay on the leading edge of consumer trends by offering a prebiotic ingredient like no other, and the most studied of its kind. Dominic and Heather will be pivotal in helping us to achieve our strategic goals in North America.”
Dominic Kwiatkowki, now appointed as Clasado’s Director of Sales North America, holds a Masters Certificate in Strategic Global and Key Account Management from University of St Gallen in Switzerland, widely regarded as one of the most prestigious business academies in the world. Prior to joining Clasado, Dominic held key commercial leadership roles within the health and nutrition fields, responsible for key accounts and managing global revenue.
Heather Solomita, appointed the role of North American Sales Manager, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University, Atlanta, GA. Heather brings a wealth of experience in prebiotic applications, having previously held key commercial roles within the US supplements sector.
Kwiatkowki said: “It’s an exciting time to join Clasado Biosciences as prebiotics continue to grow in popularity in North America. Health audiences are getting better connected with gut health, and the commercial value to formulators is only getting stronger and stronger.
“With Bimuno GOS, future-ready formulation is made simple, and its benefits stretch the full length of the supply chain from new product development to consumer appeal. There has never been a better time to explore the many benefits of prebiotics in nutraceutical, medical nutrition, functional food and beverage formulations and showcasing what makes Bimuno GOS so unique in the market.”
Heather added: “There are enormous opportunities that unlock when businesses choose Bimuno GOS for their new product development. These advantages run the full gamut, from the consumer to the supply chain, making it a clear choice.”
