ABF Ingredients acquires Fytexia Group

ABF Ingredients (ABFI) has acquired Fytexia Group, a developer of active ingredients for dietary supplements. The acquisition will expand ABFI’s portfolio of products and capabilities in the pharmaceutical, nutritional and food market sectors.

Headquartered in France, with presence in Europe and regional offices in the US and Asia, Fytexia will help positioned to serve customers globally. It focuses on the research and scientific validation of bioactive compounds to deliver functional ingredients targeting non-communicable diseases. The company comprises two businesses, Fytexia, a producer in polyphenols, and B Natural, which extracts and refines brown propolis.
