TestFACTOR Sexual Wellness & Longevity is clinically demonstrated to increase serum testosterone, enhance libido and improve sexual function

PLT Health Solutions announces the launch of TestFACTOR Sexual Wellness & Longevity, a groundbreaking new sexual health ingredient for global markets.

Comprising two standardised botanical extracts with a rich Ayurvedic history — East Indian Globe Thistle (Spaeranthus indicus) and Mango Tree Bark (Mangifera indica) – this innovative and multi-patented ingredient has been shown to increase both Free and Total Testosterone in men across four randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical studies.

The most recent study, focusing on sexual health and performance, demonstrated that TestFACTOR significantly enhances overall sexual function, including improvements in desire, frequency, pleasure and other key factors.

The study also demonstrated that TestFACTOR reduced mental and physical fatigue and improved grip strength.

Seth Flowerman, President and CEO of PLT Health Solutions, highlighted the rising interest amongst men in maintaining healthy testosterone levels.

"Men are becoming increasingly aware of testosterone’s pivotal role in overall health — with benefits spanning sexual wellness to physical strength, endurance and muscle mass," said Flowerman.

"The unique combination of extracts in TestFACTOR has demonstrated impressive results across four clinical trials and has been shown to boost both Free and Total Testosterone. We are proud that our customers are featuring it in a growing range of leading men's health formulations."

A novel ingredient with broad ranging benefits

In the most recent clinical study assessing men’s sexual health, 60 healthy, non-obese, recreationally active men took either 325 mg/day TestFACTOR or a matching placebo for 8 weeks.

Key outcome measures included biomarkers for testosterone (Total and Free), dihydrotestosterone (DHT), and testosterone-to-estradiol ratio. Questionnaires included a Change in Sexual Function Questionnaire (CSFQ), the Chalder Fatigue Scale (CFQ), Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), the Athens Insomnia Scale (AIS) and the SF-36 vitality scale.

Physical assessments included grip strength and body composition (DEXA).

By 8 weeks, subjects taking TestFACTOR saw a 19% increase in Total Testosterone and a 20% increase in Free Testosterone compared to baseline values.

Overall improvement in sexual function was 48%. Sexual frequency was improved by 58%, sexual interest by 45%, erections by 49%, and pleasure by 44%. TestFACTOR subjects had lower scores for both mental and physical fatigue.

Grip strength, an important marker of longevity, was improved by 14.5% for TestFACTOR subjects. All of these outcomes were statistically significant versus placebo.*

According to Jennifer Murphy, MS, RD, Director of Innovation & Clinical Development for PLT Health Solutions, the most recent clinical trial on TestFACTOR was developed based on the ingredient’s previously demonstrated support for testosterone enhancement.

“We understood the impacts on testosterone from the prior clinical work, which focused on strength. We wanted to focus this study on understanding the potential benefits to men’s sexual health,” she said.

“We saw that TestFACTOR offers a significant opportunity for men to improve their sexual function and enhance their experience, improve energy, and support their long-term vitality,” she added.
